Betty White is one ‘Hot’ Viking In the new season of “Hot in Cleveland,” legendary comedienne Betty White (who plays Elka) goes back to school — at CSU! “She’s taking classes for a new business that she’s starting, which I can’t discuss,” said Todd Millner, executive producer of the hit TV Land sitcom. “But I can tell you that she’s taking accounting at Cleveland State.” Keep an eye out for the customized Cleveland State sweatshirt that White sports in an upcoming episode. [[MORE]] “She BeDazzled it,” Millner said. “Betty’s character BeDazzles everything.” The character of Joy, played by co-star Jane Leeves, also has enrolled at CSU, although she hasn’t settled on a particular field of study, Millner said. “Hot in Cleveland” is filmed in Hollywood. Filming a few exterior shots on the Cleveland State campus might be a possibility in the future. “Hopefully, we can film outside there at some point,” Millner said. “Maybe that could be the season-five premiere.” In the meantime, don’t miss the season-four premiere of “Hot in Cleveland,” which also stars Valerie Bertinelli and Wendie Mallick, at 10 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, on TV Land.
